——————————–How far away the stars seem, and how far is our first kiss, and ah, how old my heart.
~ W.B. Yeats, Ephemera
Word Count: WIP
Summary: As apprentices, Karl and Anders forged a lasting friendship. But, once Anders is gone, Karl must seek his own freedom, little knowing that, years later, fate will bring them together once more.
Author’s Note: This story is my take on the Karl/Anders relationship referred to when romancing Anders as male!Hawke. Ephemera features teenage Anders and his temper tantrums (*grin*), some fluffy romance and smut, and some politics, theology and philosophy, fading to tragedy as the former lovers meet again in Kirkwall. Eagle-eyed types who like detail-spotting will find cross-references between this story and Justice in Surrender, plus Words in the Darkness, A Canticle of Arguments, and other associated Anders stories of mine. 😉
More coming soon…
